Travel: 10% (Expected travel may be to Moorestown, NJ)

Security Clearance: A Secret Clearance is required for this position. US Citizenship is necessary to obtain a clearance.

Requirements:

  • United States Citizenship
  • Minimum of 6 years of systems engineering experience in a Naval Combat Systems environment
  • Proven experience in functional and system level requirements analysis
  • Ability to navigate complex systems with multiple baselines
  • Detail-oriented and highly organized with strong oral and written communication skills

Responsibilities:

  • Identify and resolve integration issues and capability discrepancies across various combat systems baselines.
  • Collaborate with engineering teams in the planning, design, and development of systems for optimized software and hardware performance.
  • Engage in working groups and technical discussions to share insights.
  • Develop system and software architectures to enhance coordination across military assets and warfare systems.
  • Offer systems engineering support for software applications connecting with tactical systems.
  • Conduct systems engineering analysis and prepare documentation throughout system design, development, and testing phases.
  • Assist in the integration and testing of software applications within military simulations and operational systems.
  • Evaluate software performance and features, document findings, and facilitate continuous design and development improvements.

Preferred Skills and Experience:

  • Knowledge of Aegis or SSDS Combat System concepts, programs, and architectures
  • Familiarity with Combat System, Warfare System, or Element certification processes

Education: A Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in engineering, scientific, or technical discipline from an accredited institution is required.

Compensation: The salary range for this position is $110,000 - $140,000. This range considers various factors such as experience, education, security clearance, work location, and skills.
