Frito Lay is hiring for Regional Class A CDL Driver
Sign-On Bonus: $5,500 (Based on performance and eligibility)
Frito-Lay is seeking skilled Regional Class A CDL Driver to join our team. This role offers competitive pay with performance-based increases, excellent benefits, and a supportive work environment. As a Regional Class A CDL Driver, you will operate tractor-trailers, transport products, and ensure timely deliveries while adhering to all safety regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Safely operate a tractor-trailer (automatic Volvo, International, or Freightliner; diesel/natural gas) in compliance with Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations.
- Load and unload trailers manually, with palletized equipment, or using a two-wheeler.
- Transport products (chips, dips, and snacks) to and from large grocery stores, Frito-Lay facilities, rural storage units, and traffic centers.
- Obtain receipt signatures, pick up returns, complete logs, invoices, and manifests.
- Utilize electronic logging devices such as tablets or onboard dash computers.
- Maintain frequent communication with dispatch, sales drivers, and customers.
- Perform pre- and post-trip truck inspections.
- Adhere to DOT hours and Frito-Lay scheduling requirements, including overnight trips, weekends, and holidays.
Job Requirements:
- Valid Class "A" Commercial Driver’s License (CDL).
- Minimum of 100,000 verifiable accident-free miles OR more than 2,500 accident-free hours.
- Ability to lift 15-50 pounds with or without reasonable accommodation.
- Ability to stand, walk, push, pull, and lift overhead for extended periods.
- Willingness to work up to 14-hour shifts and drive up to 11 hours per day.
- Must participate in seniority-based route bidding via an electronic bid board.
- Must be available to work weekends and holidays.
